Every now and then I will travel somewhere exotic, and some place will catch my eye enough that I will take a photo, but not enough to stop in. But sometimes I look back at old photos and wonder...
'Le Nashville' in Montpelier, France. Is it one of the few examples of the Frenchization of American culture (as compared to the millions of times French things are Americanized)? Or is it an abomination that mixes 'Les Ch'tis,' trailer park low-class French culture with banjos? I might have entered but I didn't want to order 'Les biscuits and gravy avec le Jack Daniels.'
This place looked like an epic nerd-center in London, near China-town/the Indian/Pakistani district. But I usually never take any souvenirs; too expensive. I just stick to photos. If only I could afford London, perhaps I could hop back and forth between masala and kebab shops and elf-slaying.
Literally 'Eat me' in French. I am guessing it doesn't have quite the same connotation.
A bar in Southeast Malta. I don't even...
If you have any weird places to share, post a photo or a story in the comments. And if you've been to any of these places, da heck were you thinking?
