Apocalyptic Belfast (Part 2)

There is an incredible sense of calm loneliness being in a place that should be full of people, that is instead completely empty.

The steel circle, meant to highlight Belfast's industrial history.

This overwhelming sense of calm loneliness stuck with me long after I left Belfast. Looking back at the photos was enough to send me right back. I decided I would write a novella on it.

This photo served as the basis for the cover, which I commissioned one of my digital artist friends to draw.

                                                                       Props to Kyle!

I think I should definitely travel more. Some of the best stories come from deep feelings, not concepts or even characters, as great as they are. I need to get out world travelling again.
