I'm Not Dead Yet

I realize it's been a while. To my three or so frequent followers, I salute you! I haven't felt the need to update this as the only reason I got a blog is to connect with potential readers of my fiction, but since I have been so busy with my Ph.D program I haven't published any fiction and haven't felt the need to update it. But I am trying to get back on that horse (no matter how many times it kicks me off) and am submitting material for publication. In the meantime I am recharging my batteries with these lovely little critters.
