I'm Not Dead Yet

I realize it's been a while. To my three or so frequent followers, I salute you! I haven't felt the need to update this as the only reason I got a blog is to connect with potential readers of my fiction, but since I have been so busy with my Ph.D program I haven't published any fiction and haven't felt the need to update it. But I am trying to get back on that horse (no matter how many times it kicks me off) and am submitting material for publication. In the meantime I am recharging my batteries with these lovely little critters.

First year as a grad student has passed; now to relax with these dogs, go on hikes, and get back on the publishing horse. 

First Semester Down, And I'm Still Not Famous

After working 70-80 hours a week this past semester in year 1 of my Ph.D program (between studying and TAing) I am briefly back in Oregon for some R&R, as I wait for the publications to come in.

I have missed this dog.
